Product Review : Artic Zero Ice Cream

Ice cream is something I used to love as a kid; before there was froyo or frozen yogurt.  This was before they told you that cow milk was bad for you and almond milk or soy was the healthier alternative.  Bluebell was the domain ice cream for decades,  now there are all sorts of goodies like almond milk ice cream and greek yogurt fruit infused bars.  These items look great  and people tend to buy them because they’re not screaming ICE CREAM in their title, however, the proof is always in the nutrition facts.  If you look closely, these “healthier” alternatives are still  high in sugar.

If your like me, you need something that can aide that feeling in your soul for ice cream.  Well look no more, Arctic Zero is a non dairy, GMO free brand that has less than 200 calories (in most flavors) pure pint with..get this…absolutely no sugar.  Now when I say no sugar, that just means all of the sugar contents are natural and organic ingredients.  The most attractive factor about Artic Zero is each serving size (1/4 cup) contains 5g of protein!!

The Taste: The first time I tried Arctic Zero I wasn’t impressed to say the least. There was no substance, it literally tasted like Ice, no cream.  It wasn’t until they came out with the new Snicker doodle Dandy flavor that I completely fell in love!  It tasted just like the cookies you can’t have on your diet and it even has bits of sugar cookie swirled into the mix.  Its a must try!

Where to purchase: Kroger, Whole Foods, Sprouts or any organic store.
